Web Host News Now

I am trying to figure out a way to move a site from 1 host to another... The problem is that I don't just have a bunch of HTML files to move... I rented a VPS server for the last year, I believe it was CentOS 5 (OS). I setup several things on the server, MYSQL, FFMPEG, ETC...

I am now wanting to move to a dedicated server HOWEVER I DO NOT WANT TO START ALL OVER AGAIN. The site is rather busy and it is important to do the transition as fast as possible.

SO -- I have used Symantec Ghost before to "clone" a computer before. It basically takes an IMAGE of the entire HD and then you can paste/burn that image on a new HD and it makes a PERFECT copy of the original machine.

BUT - I have NO CLUE how to do this over the internet???

I need help guys - anything to point me in the right direction is much appreciated!

Do not host with Anweb.net...at any cost....I have been using them only because hostgator recommends them....I purchased 4-5 domain names...these were charged to my cc...and guess what never reserved...(I got email proofs of the transactions...)just imagine if someone had purchased them in the meanwhile...
The story does not stop here...the one domain which they DID purchase for me...the next day my account was locked....I sent them mails over mails and guess what NO answer...when i mean no answer i do not mean late or lame answers...nothing....the beatitude...
I just can't believe this thing...and further how hostgator associates with them???????????? Now if hostgator says they dont...I have proof of one of their chat agent saying they do...so.....

I am looking for advice for doing my very basic music store. I just want a text listing ( around 100 word paragraph) for each instrument with 4 or so hyper links to the pictures.

I wanted a host with site building tools. I have looked at Hostgator and yahoo
I looked at Hostgators sitebuilder but I just want a plain page with nothing on it, not sure if I can do that there or not.
At 1st I was looking to do this as an ebay store, where I hve sold in the past but the cost seems high and I would rather have my own stand alone site and just use them from time to time to build traffic to my site.

very odd, since they claim great redundancy, but from Australia and many other countries enom dns is down, all enom ( including enom.com) domains are out via dns failure and its been a while,anyone else seeing this ?
