Looking for high end business hosting options

My head is spinning with the large number of hosting companies, and while I have spent two days doing web research, there are over 25,000 hosting companies in the US, and I am having trouble sifting through the info.

I am a small business owner who is willing to pay $20-$30/month, but want a truly top tier facility, true 24x7x365 onsite support by techs and a shared linux hosting plan. A VPS - as long as it is a fully managed VPS - would be fine too, if it fits in that price range. I am an experienced Cpanel user and was a reseller at one time, but I definitely do not want to have to re-learn to also be a server, network, or db admin - so I would need some support to move to a VPS.).

My main need is a hosting partner that will rise to the occasion if my web site gets featured on Oprah, and not lock me out for using too much bandwidth or shared server resources. Something using a grid/cloud/clustering technology so they can handle spikes, etc. (I am willing to pay more if I spike, I just NEVER want to get shut down or throttled to near zero.)

All the top 10 lists and third party reviews I am finding seem to be focusing on the non-business or below $10/month market, or direct me to hosts that call one of their plans a "business class" plan, but all it really means is they put less customers on a shared box.

Can anyone out there suggest a hosting partner for me, or direct me to some good resources so I can focus my research on this level of host better?

I just suffered from myriadnetworks 2 day outage, and need to step up to the next level where the kind of network outage they faced would be nearly impossible due to redundant everything!

thanks

Business Website Hosting For Small Businesses

If you are the owner of a small to medium sized business, then you must be aware of an affordable business website hosting plan. This kind of website hosting is identical to shared web hosting in which the accounts are segregated into several hundred accounts, all running through a single server. Because these packages are so reasonably priced, this does not mean that you will have to compromise on reliability and quality.

If you represent a company overwhelmed with the demands of your IT infrastructure or data protection, consider a colocation facility in your area. Colocation services are an ideal way to manage your information systems, free up space and increase your company's efficiency.
